US is a Horror/Thriller by Jordan Peele (most notably known for “Get Out”). The Wilson family goes on a family vacation to the mother/wife Adelaide (Lupita Nyong’) childhood home. As a child Adelaide experienced something eerie & traumatic and doesn’t really want to stay at her childhood home. And playing to her premonition before they can leave the family is confronted by doppelgängers & and it takes off from there.
Acting was Superb all around; Exceptional performance by Lupita Nyong’O (has to be a early favorite for award nominations) I don’t really consider it a horror in a classic sense but I can’t dispute it either which makes this a great movie by Jordan Peel. You will most certainly enjoy watching this film. The plot was excellent it takes you on a thrilling ride. Whether you go to the movies often or sparingly “US” is a movie you don’t want to miss.
