Queen & Slim starts off as a tinder date from hell that gets even worse when they’re pulled over by a police officer. The situation escalates the officer is killed during the confrontation. Queen & Slim immediately go on the run as they become America’s Most Wanted. You journey with Queen & Slim as they try to evade authorithies and escape out the country.
Acting was terrific by the entire cast, the stars of the movie Daniel Kaluuya (Slim) and Jodie Turner (Queen) nailed it. Kaluuya can add another breakout performance to his resume and Turner was simply amazing; bigger roles should follow for her. This was a very thrilling movie, I know it’s probably cliché but you can say this is a millennial age Boonie and Clyde. Great job by Melina Marsoukas putting it all together to keep the film from stalling out after the movies climax. Overall this is a must see quality performance all around and you don’t want to blink cause you can’t miss a scene
