LONG SHOT (2019)

Directed By Johnathan Levine

Starring: Charlize Theron, Seth Rogen, O’Shea Jackson Jr.

Long Shot is about Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen) who is at a low point in his life and reconnects with his first crush Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron) who just so happens to be one of the most powerful women in the world. Charlotte hires Fred to be part of her staff and that’s where it goes on chaotically romantic. It leaves us with one Big question; How is Fred & Charlotte ‘s undeniable attraction for each other going to end?

I really loved the acting in this film. Seth Rogen Chemistry with both Charlize & O’Shea Jackson was remarkable, I would like to see him work with either again. This was a really good romantic comedy it had that 80’s meets the current day feel to it, but definitely not mushy at all. You will get a lot of good laughs out of this movie (I’m laughing right now just thinking about how many times I laughed during the movie). The plot was sensational it’s very difficult to maintain a balance of comedy & keeping to a consistent plot; But Jonathan Levine did a fantastic job keeping that balance. This is a great date night movie or if you need a good laugh I highly recommend this film.
