Directed by: Neil Jordan
Starring: Isabelle Huppert (Greta), Chloe
Greta is a thriller about a naive woman name Frances who is trying to move on with her life in New York after her mother passes away. Frances finds a pocketbook on the train and returns it to the owner; subsequently she meets the owner of the pocketbook named Greta who befriends her. At first their relationship starts sweet and innocent but then Frances discovers something about Greta that makes her want to severe their relationship. As Frances tries to move on from Greta; Greta becomes derange and wants to get Frances to be her friend again.
Acting featured a strong performance by Isabelle Huppert playing a different role as the villain; the acting by the other cast members is pretty good there were times where I was ticked off when they did certain things in the movie( a sign of good acting) . You will most certainly be entertained by this film. The plot is a little different which makes the movie a good thriller. Overall Greta is worth going to see.
